1. Independent study tool
Pixlico is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), any state licensing agency (including Texas DPS), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) or the U.S. Department of Transportation. We do not issue licenses or permits, and we cannot book or give the official test.
All questions are original. They are written from public federal regulations (Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations) and general safe-driving knowledge. They are not the official test questions and are not copied from any state manual. Test rules (number of questions, language, passing score) change; always confirm with your state.

Hazmat (H): before your first Hazmat knowledge test, federal rules require you to complete Hazmat theory training from a provider on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry (Entry-Level Driver Training, 49 CFR 383.71(a)). Pixlico is practice only and does not replace that training. Hazmat also requires a TSA background check.
2. Fail-Refund Guarantee
What we promise: if you fail your official CDL knowledge test after studying with Pixlico, we refund 100% of what you paid us for your plan, add-ons and upgrades included.
The only condition: you completed at least 3 full mock exams in Pixlico for that test before your official test date. Our system records this automatically; you can see your count in your student area.
How to claim: email support@pixlico.com within 30 days of your official test date, from the email used for your purchase, with a photo or screenshot of your result (you may hide your personal details except the date and the result).
When you get paid: we refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of your claim. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. You keep your access.

Essential (always on): keep your cart and checkout working, remember your language, protect against fraud. Analytics, marketing and ad measurement (only with your consent, or until you opt out where the law allows): the Meta pixel and Shopify analytics, to know which ads bring students. You can say no and the site works the same.
Change your choice any time with the cookie banner or the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal of your browser as an opt-out of “sale” and “sharing”.
5. Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA: readable contrast, large touch targets, keyboard use, and every question available as text and audio. If something is hard to use, email us and we will help.
